Being a candid personality on social media, Stuart Broad commented on a post, “I ran a drink out too, spirit of cricket award.”

Batting in the sizzling and humid temperature, Root acknowledged that he did not have enough fluids on Day 1 which led to cramps.
“Yeah, I am ready for more tomorrow…hopefully get back, a bit frustrating, very kind of Virat (Kohli) to help me out (with cramps), good sportsmanship from him…It’s just like a long day and then after a few overs I get some fluids and cooled down,” Root had mentioned.
As the Day 2 of the first Test continues, England are playing with a loss of only three wickets and put over 300 runs on the board in the first innings.
