Chris Morris’ 18-ball 36 helped the Rajasthan Royals secure a three-wicket win against the Delhi Capitals at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on Thursday.
Earlier, Avesh Khan dismissed David Miller after the latter notched his 10th IPL fifty to swing the match back in teh Delhi Capitals’ favour. The Capitals were comfortably on top of Royals, having removed their top five batsmen cheaply. But Miller struck seven fours and two sixes en route to his 43-ball 62 to keep Rajasthan alive in the chase for their first win.
Earlier, Jaydev Unadkat’s brilliant 3/15 spell helped the Rajasthan Royals restrict the Delhi Capitals to a 147-run total. The Royals made a dream start, with pacers Unadkat and Mustafizur Rahman wreaking havoc on the Capitals top-order. However, Rishabh Pant led a fightback with his 13th IPL fifty.

. Avesh Khan has dealt a big blow to Rajasthan, taking two wickets in consecutive overs. First gets Shivam Dube, getting an edge which is well caught by Shikhar Dhawan in the slips, before removing Riyan Parag with a slower one, which the batter chipping it straight to Dhawan at the covers. . That’s the one Delhi wanted the most, and their South African paceman has delivered. A seaming delivery outside off gets the outside edge and Dhawan makes no mistake at the slips. (RR score: 17/3 from 3.3 overs)
. Chris Woakes has given the Delhi Capitals an ideal start, dismissing openers Manan Vohra and Jos Buttler in his first over. Vohra perishes in search for a big hit over cow corner, but only manages to chip it to Rabada at long on. Buttler then gets a big inside edge, which Pant collects with an acrobatic effort. . Unadkat is on fire! Gets the big wicket of Shikhar Dhawan off the first ball of his second over and is on a hattrick now! Bowls a fullish one on the leg side and Dhawan looks for the scoop, but gets a faint nick on it and Samson takes a blinder of a catch behind the stumps. (DC score: 16/2 after 3.1 overs)

Samson confirmed two changes to the side that lost to Punjab Kings on Monday, with David Miller and Jaydev Unadkat coming in for Ben Stokes and Shreyas Gopal.
Meanwhile, Pant also made two changes to the side that beat the Chennai Super Kings last Saturday, with Kagiso Rabada and Lalit Yadav replacing Shimron Hetmeyer and Amit Mishra.
Delhi and Rajasthan have both won 11 of the 22 times they have faced each other in IPL history, with Delhi having won their last five fixtures against the Royals.
