Chirag Falor from Pune has topped the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE)-Advanced exam, results of which were announced on Monday, according to officials. He has scored 352 marks out of 396 marks.

Gangula Bhuvan Reddy and Vaibhav Raj have bagged the second and third rank respectively. 

“Kanishka Mittal (AIR 17) is the national topper among females,” said an official of IIT-Delhi.

Union Minister of Education Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal also congratulated all the students who got their desired rank and requested them to work for ‘self-reliant India’ in the future, reported ANI. 

IIT-Delhi conducted the JEE-Advanced exam this year, for admission to IITs across the country.

The JEE Advanced examination was held on September 27 at around 1000 exam centres across 222 cities in two slots – from 9 am to 12 noon and between 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm.
