Hours after Bombay High Court quashed the BMC order of
demolishing Kangana Ranaut’s office in the city, Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pedneker lashed out at the actress
for trying to make courts “an arena for politics” calling her a person worth “two
penny”.

Mayor Kishori Pedneker said she will study the court order
and will proceed accordingly.

She also pulled up the actress, often in news for her controversial
takes on politics, for calling Mumbai “PoK”.

“Everyone is surprised that an actress who lives in
Himachal, comes here and calls our Mumbai PoK… such ‘do takke ke log’ want to
make courts arena for political rivalry, it’s wrong,” Pednekar said in a video
posted by ANI on Twitter.

in posh Pali Hill area of Mumbai, which was stayed midway after the
intervention of court.

The court has now appointed an architect to assess the damage
property received during the demolition exercise, to determine the extent of
compensation to the actress.
