One of Bollywood‘s most favourite onscreen couples Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif are back on the big screen with ‘Sooryavanshi’ and the fun has already started. While the actors are sure to deliver a power-packed performance in their upcoming movie but the backstage fun is too good to miss.

Katrina Kaif on Sunday shared a backstage video from the promotion schedule of ‘Sooryavanshi’ and actor Akshay Kumar and director Rohit Shetty look more than excited for the process, at least that’s what Katrina believes.

The video starts with Katrina getting the mood of the team telling the fans that she has never seen Akshay and Rohit so excited for anything before the way they are in the video.

The ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ actor then exaggerates her colleagues’ mood by saying that she never witnessed them so jazzed up and enthusiastic only to show the fans of a dull show where Rohit Shetty looks all retarded and Akshay Kumar can be seen sleeping on his lap.

The real fun begins when the team notices that Katrina is recording them being such lousy actors and Akshay starts running to save his reputation despite Katrina’s assurance that she was not recording.

In the attempt, Akshay falls to the floor and starts loving. 

Explaining his side of the story, Akshay wrote in the comments section, “Waiting for Sooryavanshi for a year and a half now, a few moments of peace to banta hai nah! But pranksters like you clearly want trouble @katrinakaif. No worries, #AaRahiHaiPolice.”

Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Sooryavanshi’ was originally scheduled to release on March 24, 2020, but was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic, which led to theatre shutdown across the country. The makers then planned a Diwali 2020 premiere but had to postpone it to April 30 this year.

Finally, the movie will be released on November 5.
