The International Cricket Council on Wednesday released the latest list of top 10 Men’s T20I batting rankings. India’s KL Rahul and Virat Kohli are the only batsmen from the country to feature in the list.

Kohli grabbed the eight spot with 697 points after a decent performance in the recently concluded T20I series win against Australia, scoring 134 runs at an average of 44.66 in the three matches.

KL Rahul on the other hand, has replaced Australia skipper Aaron Finch in the third spot with 816 points. Rahul scored 81 runs in the three-match series.  

Opener Rohit Sharma, who missed the series due to an injury has lost out on the rankings and is currently in the 14th spot while fellow opener Shikhar Dhawan has occupied the 19th spot. 

England’s Dawid Malan tops the rankings with 915 points followed by Pakistan’s Babar Azam.

ICC also released the Men’s T20I bowling rankings which is dominated by Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan. While no Indian bowlers feature in the list, if the good performance by Indian bowlers in the last series continues, it could change the rankings in the future.
