The Delhi Police on Monday issued a lookout notice against Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar over the Chhatrasal Stadium brawl, in which a wrestler died.
A senior police officer confirmed that the lookout notice was issued on Sunday evening.
Statements of the victims have already been lodged. According to the victims, the clash took place over vacating a flat in the Model Town area.

The two-time Olympic medallist has been named in the police report, who is on the run and police are making all the efforts to the trace the wrestler, a senior police officer said. He added that raids were being conducted in the Delhi-NCR region and neighbouring states to arrest him.
The police officer also confirmed that victims’ statements suggests that Kumar was present at the spot when the clash happened.

The victim, who died in the incident was 23 years old. He and two of his friends were fiercely assaulted by other wrestlers present in the Chhatrasal stadium on Tuesday night.
According to the police, the brawl involved Kumar, Ajay, Prince Dalal, Sonu, Sagar, Amit and others. A case was registered under sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Arms Act at the Model Town Police Station.
Dalal, who is a resident of Haryana’s Jhajjar, has already been apprehended.
