Dilip Kumar, who has spent over seven decades in the film industry, is going to turn 98 on December 11. However, there is no big celebration in the pipeline, says his companion for life for over five decades Saira Banu. “We have had a catastrophe this year. Dilip sahab lost his two brothers (Ehsan and Aslam Khan to COVID-19),” she told Mid day.

“He doesn’t keep well, neither do I. It’s a difficult time for us, so, there is no question of a big celebration. We will simply thank the Lord for the gift of life and health,” she further added.

As COVID-19 gripped the world including India, Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu have been staying in isolation in their Bandra bungalow. However, the yesteryear actress keeps on giving a glimpse of their life on social media.

When asked how they are spending their days in isolation, she said, “Dilip sahab is a sports fan and watches sports on TV. He also loves classical music. So, it’s time well-spent at home.”

With an age gap of 22 years and married for over 50 years, Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu is certainly the golden couple of Bollywood.
