Actor Rhea Chakraborty and brother Showik Chakraborty’s judicial custody has been extended till October 20 by Mumbai’s Special NDPS court on Tuesday.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), probing the drug angle into the Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, has arrested at least 20 people so far.
Earlier the NCB has said that the siblings were “active members of a drug syndicate that was connected with high society personalities and drug suppliers.”

Rhea Chakraborty, who dated the late actor, was arrested on September 9 on charges of organising drugs for him.
Meanwhile, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Monday said that the medical board had submitted its forensic report directly to the Central Bureau Investigation (CBI), which is probing the death of Rajput.
Rajput was found hanging at his Bandra residence in Mumbai on June 14, 2020. Currently, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the NCB and the Enforcement Directorate(ED) are investigating the death of the 34-year old actor.
A wider drug-nexus in Bollywood has emerged during the ongoing investigation.
