Sushant Singh Rajput was the one who used to take marijuana, alleges Rhea Chakraborty in an interview to a TV channel.  She also said that she never smoked drugs in her life.

In an exclusive interview with Aaj Tak news channel, she clarified that the
allegations against her are “baseless”.

When asked if Rhea has some connection with drug peddlers, she said, “Now this is what is left to  hear… I deny all these allegations, they are absolutely baseless. I don’t want to get into details of it as this can hamper the investigation.” 

When asked about one of the conversation that is circulating in media about her WhatsApp conversation with Samuel Miranda in which he said that the “stock is over”, she said, “This is very unfortunate that kisi ke zuzar jaane ke baad
kisi ko vices ko aise exploit karna hota hai but i have no other option. Yes, Sushant used to smoke marijuana aur who kaafi regularly peete the, mujhse
milne se pehle se peete the. Infact Kedarnath (Sushant’s 2018 film) ki shooting aur use zara sa pehle
shuru kiya tha.(This is very unfortunate that I  have to talk about his vices when he is no
more with us but I have no other option. Yes, Sushant used to smoke marijuana
and he used to smoke it very regularly. He used to do that before we met infact
he started smoking during the shooting of Kedarnath or few days before that).”

“Mein unhe control karne ki khoshish karti
thi..mein sirf isi department mein unhe control karne ki koshish
karti thi. Mein cut down karne ki kohsish karti thi  but he was the man of his own choices. He was
a grown up man who chose what he wanted to do and nobody could stop him.
(I tried controlling and this was only department where I tried controlling
him. I tried to cut down his smoking habit but he was the man of his choices.),” she added.

She also said that she “never encouraged him to take drugs.”

“I tried to
stop him and tried to tell him to reduce it. It is something he would do. I never
indulged him to do.  Sushant did exactly
what he wanted to do. If he wanted to smoke drugs, he would smoke drugs…if he didn’t want, nobody on earth could convince him.  I have never taken drugs,” she said.

Rhea was booked by the Narcotics
Control Bureau for allegedly  dealing in banned drugs on Wednesday, Sushant
Singh Rajput’s father has alleged that she used to poison his son, who was
found dead in his Mumbai flat on June 14.  

Currently three agencies are probing the case:
The CBI(Central Bureau of Investigation), ED and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

The NCB case was filed on Wednesday after the
ED (Enforcement Directorate), while questioning Rhea, had obtained “deleted WhatsApp messages”
allegedly indicating dealings in banned drugs from her phone. The agency
recorded her statements on the issue under the Prevention of Money Laundering
Act (PMLA), officials said. Subsequently, CBI and NCB were informed of the alleged
links.
