Winning the Miss Universe crown brings Harnaaz Sandhu a bounty in perks. First, there’s a very expensive crown. The crown was created by Mouawad Jewelry in 2019 for the Miss Universe organisation. The value of the crown is around $5 million (Rs 37 crore). It is made of 18-carat gold, 1,770 diamonds, and a shield-cut golden canary diamond in the centre that weighs around 62.83 carats. The crown is decorated with leaves and petals.

Next, the prize money. The amount a contestant makes after winning the  Miss Universe title is a closely guarded secret, but it can reasonably be expected to be a significant sum in US dollars.

Harnaaz will be allowed to stay in the Miss Universe apartment in New York for one year.  Everything from groceries to clothes will be paid for by the Miss Universe Organisation. She will also be given a team of professional make-up artists, hairdressers, hair and skincare products, shoes, jewellery, and the world’s best photographers by the Miss Universe Organisation to build her modelling portfolio. Services like dentists, dermatologists, nutrition advisors, and fashion stylists are also part of the deal.
