Football Premier League club, Liverpool‘s manager Jurgen Klopp recently said that Mohammad Salah is a better player than football legends Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, in his current form. The statement came after the Egyptian player scored exceptionally in Saturday’s 5-0 win over Watford.

Mohammad Salah is an Egyptian professional footballer who plays for the Premier League club, Liverpool. Salah plays as a centre forward and also captain of the Egyptian National football team. Hailed as one of the best in the world, Salah is known for his dribbling and speeding skills.

Salah started his football career with a local youth team. In 2006, he joined the youth team of Al Mokawloon at the age of 14 after being spotted by a scout who actually came to observe another child but was captivated by Salah’s play. In 2015, he was moved by the senior squad by then team manager Mohamed Radwan.

Salah made his senior team debut in the Egyptian Premier League coming on as a substitute on 3 May 2010 in a 1–1 away draw against El Mansoura. During the 2010–11 season, Salah continued earning minutes on the pitch, eventually becoming a regular in the team.

The Liverpool player scored his first goal for Al Mokawloon on December 25, 2010, in a 1–1 away draw against Al Ahly.

In April 2012, it was announced that Salah had signed for Basel on a four-year contract. He made his official Basel debut in a UEFA Champions League preliminary stage match against the Norwegian club Molde in August 2012. He made his league debut on 12 August against Thun, playing the full match.

Salah agreed to join Liverpool in 2017 on a four-year contract. The player made his Premier League debut against Watford scoring a 3–3 draw in August 2017. 

Salah got married in 2013 and share a daughter with his wife Maggie.

Salah has several records to his credit. He scored the most goals in a 38-game Premier League season with 32 goals in the 2017-18 season. He also broke the record of playing most Premier league matches with 24 games in the same season.
