Actor Vidyut Jammwal and fashion designer Nandita Mahtani are engaged to be married. According to various reports, the actor proposed to her in his signature Commando style.

The duo can be seen rock-climbing in the photo from their engagement, which took place on September 1. Vidyut and Nandita visited the Taj Mahal in Agra to celebrate the special occasion.

Who is Nandita Mahtani? 

Nandita Mahtani is a well known fashion designer. She is also known for designing and styling clothes of the Indian cricketer Virat Kohli. Mahtani was earlier married to Delhi-based businessman Sanjay Kapoor. However, their marriage was short-lived as the duo parted ways due to differences.

Nandita Mahtani was born on January 8, 1976, in Mumbai. Mahtani hails from a business background and always wanted to become a businesswoman. She also attained a degree in business from a college in London.

Meanwhile, Nandita’s father, Manu Mahtani, is a businessman and owns a seafood export business.

Nandita was then in a relationship with Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor for a brief period. She also dated the model and actor Dino Morea for a long time before calling in off in 2016.

In 1998, Nandita started her career as a fashion designer. She then decided to join her family business. Later, in 2000, Anu, her sister, launched her fashion label Ananya in London. This sparked her interest and also joined her sister’s venture.

In 2019, Nandita collaborated with Cartoon Network to launch a clothing collection that Cartoon Network toons from the 1990s. It is reportedly said that the collection is inspired by characters such as The Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo, Dexter’s Laboratory , Courage the Cowardly Dog among others.
