Union Minister Smriti Irani recently
took to Instagram to share snippets of her stepdaughter Shanelle Irani getting
engaged to Arjun Bhalla
. Soon after the pictures were posted, thousands of likes
began to pour in, and many showed curiosity into finding out more about the duo.

Unlike her stepmother Smriti
Irani, who continues to have an active public life all thanks to her current political
career as well as former acting career, Shanelle has kept her life more on the
private side.

Shanelle is one of the three kids
of Smriti and Zubin Irani. Shanelle’s biological parents are Zubin and Mona
Irani, who split up in the year 2001. Soon after, Smriti and Zubin tied the knot,
and now are parents to 18 and 21-year-olds Zohr and Zoish Irani, respectively.
