Prabhakar Sail, a witness in the drugs on
cruise case was questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) led by Deputy Director
General Gyaneshwar Singh. Sail has been asked to record a statement in the alleged
payoff in the case.
NCB removes Sameer Wankhede from Mumbai cruise drug case
On Monday, the Deputy Director General had revealed
that a number of locations are being investigated by the NCB vigilance team in
connection with the drugs on cruise case. The team led by Graneshwar Singh
reached Mumbai on Monday morning.
This is not the end of Sail’s questioning
and he has been told to appear again. While conversing with media personnel in
Mumbai, Deputy Director General Gyaneshwar Singh said, “Prabhakar Sail appeared before
NCB’s vigilance team (in Mumbai) today for questioning which started at 2 pm
(of November 8) and ended at 12:20 am (of November 9). We will again start the
questioning in the morning.”

A Special Enquiry Team has been set up to
look into the allegations against NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede in the drugs-on-cruise
case.
The Special Enquiry Team is being led by Deputy
Director General Gyaneshwar Singh.
Gosavi and NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede
have been alleged of corruption by Prabhakar Sail. He is the personal bodyguard
of Kiran Gosavi.

The minister claimed, “Rs
25 crore were sought, and the deal was finalised at Rs 18 crore…Rs 50 lakh
were given. The deal got spoilt because the selfie of K P Gosavi (NCB’s witness
in the cruise drugs case) with Aryan, after his arrest, became viral,”

Since then, Sameer Wankhede has been removed from the team
that was investigating the druigs on cruise case.
Aryan Khan was released out on bail after being arrested on
October 3.
