Finding the right
pair of jeans is not as easy as it
looks. That one well-fitted pair of jeans makes you look great and is comfortable too. Also it is impossible for a girl to live without this piece of garment in her wardrobe, as it can be paired with almost anything, be it a shirt, t-shirt or kurtas.
However, we
do take this piece of clothing for granted and commit serious mistakes while
shopping for it or even after buying. Whether it’s the right size, fit,
durability, material or washing, we do not even notice these parameters, which reduces its wearability.
So, here is
a list of four common mistakes you should avoid and the ways you can
correct them:
·
Material
check: We all are fans of cotton clothes but let me tell you that a high cotton content in jeans is not a good option. Jeans with a higher cotton content shrink after every wash.
Instead, choose those that have at least 3% lycra or spandex. It will help
your jeans to remain in proper shape and will help avoid shrinking.
·
Denim
stretch marks: We always go for skin-fit jeans as they look flattering but for
this, we often compromise with its fit. Never buy jeans that are smaller in size because with time it will start leaving stretch marks around your stomach,
waist and even legs. Instead, try
on your jeans while shopping and move around in them. Sit, walk, jump and see
if they have the required space to stretch.
If not, choose another one. The best option is the stretchable pair of
jeans which is indeed a life savior for most of the girls.

·
Always invest in quality: There are several sales out there, selling pairs of jeans at economical prices. However, it’s quite impossible to avoid such sales, always focus on quality while buying them.
So, the tip is that invest in a good quality pair of jeans which
will not only make you look great but will also last for years.
· Wash with care: Apart from taking care while shopping, your pair of jeans need after-care as well. Their inappropriate washing can ruin its look and reduces its wearability.
The garment will fade and shrink if you wash it with hot water.
Also, avoid washing it often as it’ll weaken the material. Make a habit of washing it twice a week if not worn often and once a week if worn too often. You should also, avoid ironing it on high heat as it reduces its wearability.
So,
ladies, what are you waiting for? Try these tips the next time and your
favourite pair of jeans will never disappoint you.
