Wish you could go outside and eat the food of your choice in this pandemic. This wish list will never have an end and in the times like this with every other food post we see on social media we get more tempted. But it’s dangerous to eat food outside or bring home the outside food. Many of us have shifted to making everything at home, but still, you miss eating outside.
The much-awaited long weekend is finally here! While we may not really be able to pack our bags and head on a trip, we can always make the days special by catching up with our loved ones (yes, virtually) and enjoying some lip-smacking foods and refreshing drinks.
In keeping with the spirit of the holiday mood, we have something special for the hot chocolate lovers today. If you have missed out on the heavenly hot chocolate during the lockdown and are looking for a recipe to satisfy your cravings, you definitely need to know this recipe.
The recipe from Chef Kirti Bhoutika is an interesting version of Hot Chocolate with a remix, it’s called Hot Chocolate on a Stick, the recipe doesn’t need baking and can be prepared in batches and frozen in your fridge to make you a lovely cup of hot chocolate whenever you want!
Here are all the things you need to make your own Hot Chocolate on a Stick:
- 200 gm dark chocolate
- 50 gm white chocolate
- 40 gm castor or powdered sugar
- 15 gm cocoa powder
- A pinch of Salt
- Marshmallows, chocochips, sprinklers (basically anything which you want in your Hot Chocolate)
- Wooden spoon or a skewer
- 150 ml hot milk to make hot chocolate
Make it like this:
*In a bowl, add dark and white chocolate and melt it in an oven. Add sugar, cocoa powder and salt. Whisk.
*Add the mixture to the cupcake tray. Decorate the batter portions with choco chips, sprinklers or marshmallows.
*Place a wooden spoon or skewer. Refrigerate for at least an hour.
Once the mixture has hardened, dunk the cupcake into hot milk and enjoy an amazing cup of hot chocolate just when you want it! You can also wrap them as gifts.
Hope you will have fun with these hot chocolate pops.
