World Photography Day is celebrated across the globe on August 19. Till the late 90s, cameras were a luxury and clicking photographs was saved for special occasions – weddings, holidays, birthdays etc. But with the advent of smartphones, the art of photography has become accessible to everyone. You no longer need a professional photographer and a DSLR to click a good picture. Even professional cameras have become commonplace now, with a lot of people investing in their hobby or passion of clicking pictures. In the last couple of years, all of us have at some point captured a frame in our phones or on a DSLR.
With photography gaining traction, several photography schools have sprung up across the world. A number of renowned photographers have also launched online courses to share their knowledge of the art with amateurs.
