Thai Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha on Tuesday left people and reporters stunned when he cut-short his own news conference and sprayed the reporters with sanitiser. All this, only to dodge a few tricky question.
According to a report in news agency Reuters, Chan-ocha was left frustrated when quizzed about a list of potential candidates for vacant cabinet posts. This question comes on the heels of last week’s jailing of three of his ministers for insurrection during protests seven years ago.
“Is there anything else to ask? I don’t know, I haven’t seen it. Isn’t it something the prime minister should know first?” Chan-ocha assked the reporters.
The video in which Chan-ocha left the podium, grabbed a sanitiser container and casually walked in front of the reporters before spraying on them the sanitiser.
A former military coup leader, Chan-ocha, is known for his comical remarks and often hits out reporters, a report said.
