Twitter users suspected that off-court drama cost Morant his position in the All-Team.

“Ja Morant didn’t get all NBA? He can always get another SHOT next year (he was disciplined for holding a firearm inside a nightclub),” a Twitter user said.

“Ja Morant is right back to where he plays at his best – underrated and under-appreciated. A monster bounce-back season for 12 is incoming,” another one said.

Canadian star Gilgeous-Alexander had his career-best best season this year. He finished with an average of 31.4 points on 51% shooting, 5.5 assists and 4.8 rebounds. He also earned his first career All-Star berth, finished No. 2 in Most Improved Player and was top-five in MVP voting this season.
