Arkansas Razorbacks wide receiver Andrew Armstrong suffered an injury while playing against the Florida Gators on Saturday. The game was 23-20 in favor of the Gators when he was injured.

He suffered an injury in the fourth quarter of the game. However, in relief, he went to the locker room on his foot. As of now, the team has given no update regarding his health.

Currently with the Arkansas Razorbacks, Andrew Armstrong is an outstanding wide receiver in the American Football League. At 6’4″ and 205 pounds, this junior redshirt stands tall and wears jersey number 2.

Armstrong is a Bishop Dunne High School alumni from Dallas, Texas. He was recognized as a two-year football letter winner during his time in high school, with 30 receptions for 450 yards and seven touchdowns. He was named Honorable Mention All-District and was a National Honor Society member of distinction.

He contributed to the 2021 season by playing in 11 games. His remarkable abilities were on display as he led the squad with 62 receptions, amassed an amazing 1,020 yards (averaging 16.5 yards per catch), and scored an astounding 13 touchdowns. He was the first TAMUC receiver to reach 1,000 receiving yards since 2014 with an average of 92.7 receiving yards per game. 

Notably, in seven of the Lions’ 11 games, Armstrong scored a touchdown and went over the 100-yard receiving mark. In four games, he showed off his talent for multiple touchdown grabs, and in all eleven games, he got at least three receptions.

As we move forward to 2022, Armstrong is expected to be one of the Southeastern Conference’s finest receivers. He is regarded as a big-play threat and a skilled route runner, making him an important part of the Razorbacks’ offensive schemes.
