Football referee Anthony Taylor was trolled on Twitter after he sent off South Korea manager Paulo Bento by brandishing a red card at him following a controversial final whistle of the FIFA World Cup Group H match between South Korea and Ghana on Monday. The latter won 3-2.
Bento was left fuming over the referee’s decision to not allow a corner that South Korea had won just as extra time was drawing to a close in the match. An angry Bento marched onto the field even as the Ghana players erupted in cheers all around.
