Blaine Gabbert stepped in for Tom Brady after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers starting quarterback was benched vs the Atlanta Falcons in the week 18 game on Sunday. Brady’s benching was a surprise for many and they wondered if the veteran quarterback was injured during the game.

Although Gabbert’s stature as a player is not the same as Brady, he has the experience to deal with a situation like this. Since being drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars, the 33-year-old has played for the San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals, and Tennessee Titans in the past. He has the experience necessary to replace a key man in the team like Brady.

Blaine Gabbert family

Bekah Mills is Gabbert’s wife. They met while they were both in college at the University of Miami. Reports say that the couple dated for 11 years, before finally tying the knot recently.

He has two brothers, Tyler Gabbert and Brett Gabert. Tyler was committed to Nebraska at the start of his career, but the relationship eventually did not work out.

Brett, however, has followed his brother’s footsteps to qualify as a quarterback. He is an integral member of the Miami University RedHawks team and usually plays as a backup to their first-choice quarterback, Tom Brady.

Blaine Gabbert’s father’s name is Chuck and his mother is Beverly. Tyler Gabbert is Blaine’s brother.
