Three goals were scored after the 90th minute at the Estádio do Dragão on Sunday as Atletico Madrid cruised to the round of 16 of the Champions League. The Spanish outfit defeated Porto 3-1. 

Sergio Oliveira’s last-minute penalty was a consolation for Porto after they had two players – Wendell and Agustin Marchesin – sent off the field. Atletico’s Yannick Carrasco was given a red card for raising his hands at Otavio and several yellows were awarded to stop the protests that followed.

AC Milan’s 2-1 loss against Liverpool in a simultaneous game at the San Siro ensured Diego Simeone’s side finished second in Group B despite starting the day bottom.

Griezmann put Atletico in front by tapping a swinging corner into the back post. The forward then created the second goal by slipping the ball to the charging Angel Correa who kept his head to slide a shot past ‘keeper Diogo Costa.
