The new black is orange. The new black in the NFL is white.

Teams all throughout the league are switching to white second helmets. The Denver Broncos are the most recent to achieve it.

On Tuesday, the Broncos introduced new “snowcapped” helmets. In 2023, they will be used twice with the team’s all-orange kits.

The team’s vintage “D” logo will be displayed on the white helmet.

The lighter blue helmets from the Orange Crush era were widely believed to be returning for the Broncos.

The games in which the Broncos will don their white helmets and orange-on-orange outfits have not yet been made public.

The white facemask and shell pay homage to Colorado’s imposing snow-capped mountain ranges, while the stripe and logo are a nod to a timeless style that was popular in the 1960s.

The Broncos, who have used five different helmets over the course of their more than six-decade history, will now debut an all-white helmet shell.

In accordance with league rules, Denver will wear the new alternate helmet with its all-orange alternate outfit. The Broncos will reveal in August when they will don the helmets, and they may wear them for as many as two games in 2023.
