Zach Wilson’s tenure as the starting QB in New York may be in jeopardy.
During the team’s recent game against the Patriots, Wilson faced loud jeers from disgruntled fans, with one even losing his teeth due to the intensity of his boos.
It’s evident that frustration with Wilson’s performance extends beyond the fan base. In the fourth quarter, Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson confronted Zach on the sideline, displaying his dissatisfaction with the quarterback.

Earlier this week, experienced QBs Carson Wentz and Matt Ryan reached out to the Jets, offering their services in case the team required their expertise. It has been 14 meetings since the Jets last managed to secure a victory against Bill Belichick and the Patriots.
The last time the Jets emerged victorious was on December 27, 2015, with Ryan Fitzpatrick as the quarterback. Fitzpatrick threw a touchdown pass to wide receiver Eric Decker in overtime to seal Gang Green’s triumph. Brandon Marshall was the standout among the wide receivers, racking up eight receptions for 115 yards and two touchdowns, while Darrelle Revis intercepted Tom Brady.
A lot has transpired over the past seven-plus seasons. The Jets were initially poised to be the darlings of the AFC East this year, but injuries to Aaron Rodgers and struggles by Zach Wilson have dampened some of their preseason enthusiasm.
The Patriots’ dynasty has also experienced a period of uncertainty, currently holding a 0-2 record for the first time since 2001 when Tom Brady took over as quarterback, igniting their two decades of dominance.
