Who is father Claudio Reyna, mother Danielle Reyna?

Claudio Reyna is the father of Gio Reyna. He is a former CEO and retired American professional football player. Notably, he most recently served as Austin FC’s sporting director.

Reyna had a prosperous career in Europe and primarily played as a midfielder. He represented a number of teams, including Rangers in the Scottish Premier League, Bayer Leverkusen and VfL Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga, Sunderland and Manchester City in the Premier League. He finished his playing career in 2008 as the New York Red Bulls’ team captain in Major League Soccer.

Reyna competed as a player for the North Carolina Tar Heels under the direction of coach Anson Dorrance. She was notable for playing alongside illustrious players like Mia Hamm, Tisha Venturini, and Kristine Lilly.

Last year, after the World Cup in Qatar in December, Gregg Berhalter was let go. The coach had previously abused his wife Rosalind Berhalter, as claimed by Gio Reyna’s parents Claudio and Danielle Reyna.

Gio’s parents made the accusations after World Cup coach Berhalter left their son out of the starting lineup. The 20-year-old had expressed regret for “not living up to expectations.”

Berhalter also made the statement in which he said, “One night, while out drinking at a local bar, Rosalind and I had a heated argument that continued outside. It became physical and I kicked her in the legs. To this day that type of behaviour has never been repeated. The lessons learned from that night over three decades ago became the foundation for a loving, devoted and supportive relationship.”
