Green Bay Packers‘ Aaron Rodgers was not happy with himself after his performance against the Detroit Lions. He was spotted mouthing something angrily on the sidelines after two of his throws were intercepted by the Lions players, preventing the Packers from scoring touchdowns against a team which is widely considered to have the worst defense in the NFL.

Another one of his throws was intercepted in the match, taking the total interceptions of Rodgers’ throws in the game to three.

The first interception of Rodgers’ throws was done by Kerby Joseph, a rookie safety. This was the very first interception of his career. Check out the moment right here:
While Rodgers’ first interpretation happened during the Packers’ first possession, their second possession proved to be no better. This time, the 38-year-old threw the ball towards left tackle David Bakhtiari, who identified himself as an eligible receiver. However, Aidan Hutchinson, another rookie, ended up intercepting the throws. This was Hutchinson’s first-ever interception as well.

This is the first time in Rodgers’ illustrious career that he has managed to throw two interceptions in one single game. However, that is not where his bad day at work ended. Once again Kerby Joseph proved to be the Lions’ man of the moment when he intercepted another throw by the four-time NFL MVP.

When the match began on Sunday, Rodgers already had recorded the worst passing yards every game (225) of his career. Despite being in the middle of the season, Rodgers has already managed as many interceptions this time as in eight whole seasons of his 14-season association with the Packers. He has never thrown three interceptions in his career.

Social media is abuzz with his lack of form. Some are saying that he is not being able to perform without Davante Adams in the lineup. Some have even pointed out to Rodgers’ comments about leaving out players who are making too many mistakes.
