Hardik Pandya registered his best ODI figures of 7-3-24-4, in the 3rd ODI against England. Due to his breakthroughs, India were able to restrict the hosts to 259 in 45.5 overs.
Social media was quick to react to his brilliant bowling display. Here’s a look at some of the reactions:

Earlier in the day, the visitors won the toss and decided to bowl first. Mohammed Siraj replaced Jasprit Bumrah in the only change for India because Bumrah had a back spasm.
Siraj set the tone when dismissed both Bairstow and Root in his first over. Roy and Stokes then launched the counterattack, but both were beaten by Pandya, who had a terrific day with the ball. Buttler wasn’t his usual aggressive self but Livingstone was looking dangerous when he opened out against Pandya’s short ball. Jadeja made two excellent catches of Buttler and Livingstone in the same over to the hosts the breakthrough they desperately needed. Willey and Overton scored 48 runs together when Chahal entered the attack and ended the innings.

When asked about his battle with Liam Livingstone, the Baroda all rounder said,” I had to bend my back a bit. I had to change my plans and go for the short-ball, use it as a wicket-taking delivery. I fancy my short ball. Livingstone likes to take on the short ball and that gives me goosebumps, he hit me for two sixes but I told my captain I would take my chance. “
He was also quick to praise the skipper Rohit Sharma,” The captain has been fantastic on when I should bowl and when I should not, he has handled me nicely.” “There needs to be intent with the bat as the wicket is pretty good to bat on and we fancy chasing this down” he added.
