Liam Livingstone was sold to the Punjab Kings for a whopping Rs 12 crore. He is an English batsman.

He has an experience of more than 40 first-class matches, with the highest score of 224 in the format. 

The 28-year-old is an ace batsman from the England cricket team. He made his debut in April 2016.

Liam Livingstone is a right-handed aggressive batter from England. Liam made his first-class debut for Lancashire in April 2016. Due to his impressive contribution in the match held in Manchester, Lancashire surpassed the 300-run mark against Nottinghamshire and won the match by eight wickets. 

After leading the team as a stand-in captain, Livingstone was made the club’s captain on November 30, 2017, replacing Steven Croft.

He made his international debut in 2017 against team South Africa. Livingstone’s most celebrated victories include his innings of 350 (138 balls) for Nantwich at the age of 21, which made him grab media attention.

He was also felicitated with the Most Valuable Player award in the ECB’s The Hundred competition.

Livingstone played for the Rajasthan Royals in IPL’s last season.

The IPL 2022 mega auction is currently being held in Bengaluru. On the first day of the auction, various players including Ishan KishanDeepak Chahar, and Shreyas Iyer were picked up by the franchises.
