Jake Paul
and Tyron Woodley
got into a shoving match during their public
appearance Saturday afternoon after an official weigh in earlier in the day.
The incident happened as Paul was being interviewed while he was eating chicken
fingers on stage. Tyron Woodley walked up to him to give him packets of wet
wipe
s when Paul slapped away Woodley’s hands. He then shoved Woodley away and
reached for Woodley’s hat, apparently in a bid to repeat his stunt with Floyd
Mayweather in May. A great deal of pushing and shoving ensued on stage after
which Woodley moved away.

The shoving
match between Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley comes two days after Woodley took
umbrage with members of Paul’s team talking trash to Woodley’s mother,
according to ESPN. Woodley had to be held back after the prefight news
conference. Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley will go head-to-head on Sunday.

Earlier on
Saturday, Jake Paul weighed in at 190 pounds at the Intercontinental Hotel for
the catchweight bout. Meanwhile, Tryon Woodley — the former UFC welterweight
champion — weighed in at 189.5 pounds, the heaviest Woodley has been in his
combat sports career. Until now, Woodley has fought in the UFC exclusively at
170 pounds. This weekend, Woodley would be at a disadvantage. The fight is
scheduled for eight 3-minute rounds.
