Josh Jacobs, running back for the Las Vegas Raiders, will be in action when his side takes on the Los Angeles Rams in its Week 14 matchup at the Sofi Stadium on Thursday.

The 24-year-old was listed as questionable against the Los Angeles Chargers last week but put up 144 rushing yards in 26 carries and one touchdown. He had a monster performance against the Seattle Seahawks – 303 total yards of offense, two touchdowns – in Week 12. He has established his MVP candidacy for the 2022 season.
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported Thursday that Jacobs is expected to play on Thursday night.

Josh Jacobs has a mixed ethnicity of Filipinos and Americans. His grandmother was Filipino. The running back has a portrait of her tattooed on his left hand.
Jacobs attended McLain High School in Tulsa, where he racked up 5,372 yards and 56 touchdowns.
He was homeless in middle school and reflected on his experience in a Kia commercial that aired during Super Bowl LIV. His family stayed in a car and at motels.

Jacobs’ parents – Lachelle Jacobs and Marty Jacobs – separated in 2006. After a custody battle, his father was declared the guardian for his four siblings.
The 24-year-old’s younger brother Isaiah is a running back for the Maryland Terrapins.
Shaleya Renne Jacobs is married to David Renne and has one son named Braxton.

Marty Jacobs is the youngest of the siblings.
Christopher Jacobs is Josh’s half-brother from his parent’s previous relationship. He is the oldest.
Josh Jacobs played college football at Alabama and was drafted by the Las Vegas Raiders in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
