LeBron James was trolled on social media for missing a dunk in the Los Angeles Lakers vs Denver Nuggets Conference Finals Game 2 on Thursday.
The rare fail by the ever reliable LeBron invoked some hilarious reactions from fans who could not believe what they were watching. A Twitter user expressed his astonishment, saying, “LeBron James bricked a layup and then fumbled a wide-open dunk. This is so weird.” LeBron fumbling his signature dunk after smoking a point blank layup. Father time is undefeated.” A Twitter user couldn’t believe their eyes and said, “Oh no, LeBron lost the ball on a breakaway dunk. Immediately remove him from all GOAT conversations. It’s an unfortunate play, but crazy how this will be the highlight of some haters career.”

LeBron had a decent Game 1 against the Nuggets as he got 26 points in the game, with teammate Anthony Davis getting 40 points. However the duo could not get the Lakers get past their opponents as they lost the game 132-126 with Nikola Jokic leading the pack for the Nuggets with 34 points.

The Game 2 saw another defeat for the Lakers as it finished 108-103. Lakers now trail the playoffs against the Nuggets 2-0. LeBron managed to score 22 points in the game, whereas Nuggets’ victory was backed by Jamal Murray’s 37-point bonanza.
