With two RBIs each during a four-run rally in the ninth inning, LaMonte Wade Jr. and Evan Longoria pushed San Francisco Giants over the line in a 7-4 victory against Colorado Rockies on Wednesday in Major League Baseball (MLB).
With the victory, the Giants (90-50) have now extended their win streak to four and have become the first team in the majors to win 90 games.
Ahead of the game, they had a one-game lead in the NL West over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

San Francisco’s Brandon Crawford hit a home run and Brandon Belt had three hits. Tyler Rogers (6-1) threw a scoreless eighth inning, and Jake McGee earned his 30th save in the ninth, according to inputs from the Associated Press.
When Carlos Estévez (2-4) walked pinch-hitter Buster Posey to start the ninth inning, the Giants were down 4-3. Two straight singles loaded the bases. Wade hit a two-run single to right-centre, putting the Giants up 2-0.

Longoria completed the comeback with a double to centre.
With his 16th home run in the sixth inning, Elas Daz, who also had two doubles, pushed Colorado up 4-3.
Meanwhile, before departing with one out in the fifth inning, San Francisco starter Anthony DeSclafani gave up three straight singles, including one to pitcher Jon Gray that brought in the first run.
Colorado took a 3-0 lead thanks to a groundout and a double by Trevor Story.
Crawford’s three-run homer, his 20th, knotted the game in the sixth inning against Gray, who was reinstated from the disabled list for the start. In five-plus innings, he gave up three runs on six hits while striking out eight batters.
Next, the Giants will face Chicago Cubs on Friday while the Rockies begin a four-game series at the Philadelphia Phillies on Thursday.
