Tampa Bay Buccaneers routed the Chicago Bears 38-3 on Sunday for the best seven-game start in franchise history as Tom Brady shattered yet another record, becoming the first player to throw 600 career touchdown passes.
Currently, the defending Super Bowl champions are unbeaten for four games, improving to 6-1 and avenging one of their five regular-season losses from a year ago, with Brady completing 20 of 36 passes for 211 yards and four TDs.

The defence did its part, holding the Bears (3-4) to a field goal by Cairo Santos in the second quarter and sacking rookie Justin Fields four times, forcing two turnovers. One of the Bucs’ three interceptions came from Dee Delaney in the first quarter, and it resulted in Brady’s 599th career touchdown throw.
Due to injuries to Antonio Brown and Rob Gronkowski, Mike Evans had a great day receiving for the Bucs, catching six passes for 76 yards and three touchdowns, including a 9-yarder that gave Brady number 600 with six seconds left in the first quarter.

Evans also had touchdown receptions of 2 and 8 yards to help the Bucs to a 35-3 halftime lead. Delaney’s interception gave up a 5-yard reception for Chris Godwin, who had eight catches for 111 yards. Leonard Fournette’s early 2-yard touchdown run was set up by rookie Jaelon Darden’s 43-yard punt return.
Fields, on the other hand, is now 0-3 as a starter for the Bears. The first-round selection completed 22 of 32 passes for 184 yards with three interceptions. He’s also fumbled twice and has been sacked a league-high 22 times.
Brady stayed in the game until the fourth quarter, when he was forced to leave after converting Fields’ third interception into a field goal, putting the Bucs ahead 38-3. With 7:58 left in the game, backup Blaine Gabbert entered the game.
