Odell Beckham Jr on Sunday agreed to a deal with the Baltimore Ravens.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, breaking the news, reported that the Super Bowl-winning wide receiver has agreed to a one-year deal with the Ravens.
According to NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero, the deal is allegedly worth $18 million. As per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, OBJ’s contract breakdown consists of a $13.835 million signing bonus, a $1.165 million base salary, and $3 million in incentives. Obviously, this means he will earn at least the $15 million salary he was seeking.
Due to his ACL surgery, the 30-year-old Beckham did not participate in last season’s game. He now returns to a Baltimore squad where things at quarterback are still very unclear.

Beckham will join a Baltimore squad that has used the franchise tag on quarterback Lamar Jackson, who has requested to be traded. Even with Jackson, the Ravens’ passing offense was constrained by the underwhelming performance of their wideouts. Apart from tight end Mark Andrews, Rashod Bateman only participated in six games last season, and no Baltimore player even reached 500 yards in receiving.
Regardless of who the quarterback is, Beckham is a serious threat who has the knack of delivering spectacular moments when he is at his peak. He has 531 catches for 7,367 yards and 56 touchdowns since making his New York Giants debut in 2014.

Beckham’s first three seasons included appearances in the Pro Bowl. In addition to Michael Thomas and Justin Jefferson, he is among the only three players in NFL history to accumulate 80 receptions and 1,000 receiving yards in each of his first three seasons.
On Monday, Beckham Jr. was scheduled to visit the New York Jets for a physical meeting and maybe to negotiate a contract. However, he “was feeling more love from the Ravens,” according to Josina Anderson of CBS Sports, and made the decision to go with his gut.
