Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the former captain of the Indian cricket team, is celebrating his 41st birthday on July 7, 2022. The legendary cricketer was in United Kingdom with his wife Sakshi. The couple also celebrated their wedding anniversary on July 4.
MS Dhoni, who is also known for his on-field humour, has often been caught saying shouting sarcastic comments on stump mics. While most of these remarks are only meant for his teammates, his fans also get frequent laughs out of them.

Here are some of the best stump mic moments of MS Dhoni:
-Dhoni, who often advises the bowler from behind the stumps, told Ravindra Jadeja: “Taarak Mehta daalta reh”. This was later explained by former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar, who said that the skipper was referring to the Indian television show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasma’. This was Dhoni’s code that helped his teammates know that ‘The Ooltah’ ball was working for them.
-Another one of Dhoni’s behind-stump-moments came when Jadeja was bowling. This was during a New Zealand vs India ODI game. MS Dhoni said, “Ispe ek ghumega toh idhar Pujara ko ussi ke liye rakha hai, o udhar taali bajane ke liye nahi hai”.
This roughly translated to “If the ball hits the boundaries, I have kept (Cheteshwar) Pujara in the slips for catching. He is not standing there just to clap.”

-One of MS Dhoni’s most famous and sarcastic stump mic comments was directed toward S. Sreesanth, a former Indian bowler. The skipper yelled, “Oye Sree udhar girlfriend nahi hai, idhar aa ja thoda.” MS Dhoni was telling his teammate to reposition himself on the field.
MS Dhoni, who headed the Indian team for years, has been the most consequential skipper so far. He is the only Indian captain to have won all ICC events in limited overs cricket.
