Former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis’s son, Ray Lewis III, passed away on Thursday, as reported by TMZ.

The excellent athlete Ray Lewis III passed away at the age of 28. During his college football career, he established himself as a running back. He started out playing for the Florida Lake Mary Prep High School and went on to play for the Miami Hurricanes, Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, and Virginia Union Panthers.

Ray Lewis III, a gifted athlete who was born in Lake Mary, Florida, on August 26, 1995, excelled in both football and track and field while attending Lake Mary High School. He demonstrated his running back abilities while also earning praise for his remarkable speed and agility.
When Ray Lewis III was detained and accused of criminal sexual conduct in South Carolina in 2016, his football career suffered a serious setback. He was thus removed from the Coastal Carolina University football team. Lewis decided to move to Virginia Union University after this incident, where he was given the chance to continue playing football in the ensuing 2017 season.

Ray Lewis III had a notable offensive career, accumulating a total of 5,283 rushing yards with an impressive average of 170.4 yards per game. He scored 53 touchdowns on the ground and also showcased his versatility as a receiver, making 56 career receptions for 1,190 yards and scoring 11 touchdowns through the air.
