Stephen Curry’s Golden State Warriors will lock horns against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers in round 2 of the NBA Playoffs.

Warriors come to the game after beating the Sacramento Kings in a seven-game series and the Lakers defeated Memphis Grizzlies 4-2.

Steph was on fire vs the Kings. He scored 50 points, which is an all-time record in Game 7. Kevin Durant had 48 from Brooklyn Nets vs Milwaukee Bucks in 2021. Others on the list are: Sam Jones (47, 1963) Dominique Wilkins (47, 1988), Kevin Johnson (46, 1995), Luka Dončić (46, 2021) and LeBron James (45, 2008, 2018).

On Sunday, Curry and Golden State won 120-100. Chef had eight rebounds and six assists in his 38 minutes on the court. Kevon Looney had 21 rebounds, out of which 10 were offensive.

Now Curry and LeBron will play, starting May 2.

LeBron James helped the Lakers beat Memphis 117-111 on Monday night. The King also had a career playoff-high 20 rebounds.

“I just try to be as great as I can be offensively, but more importantly on the defensive end. That was the mindset tonight. I was able to make a couple of plays. … My teammates told me I had 20 and 20. It’s the first time I’ve done it in my career, so that’s pretty cool, I guess,” he said after the game.
