India had an incredible day at the Tokyo Paralympics on Saturday, clinching 2 gold medals, 1 silver and 1 bronze. The day began with Manish Narwal winning the gold medal in the Mixed 50m Pistol SH1 final. The 19-year-old, who holds the world record in the category, shot a total of 218.2, a Paralympic record, to claim the yellow metal in P4 Mixed 50m Pistol SH1 event in his debut Games.

In the same event, Singhraj Adana finished second to take the silver medal home. He had won the bronze in the P1 men’s 10m air pistol SH1 event on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Pramod Bhagat continued his brilliant run in the Games as he clinched a historic gold medal by defeating Daniel Bethell of Great Britain in Men’s Singles SL3 final on Saturday. Manoj Sarkar, on the other hand, bagged a bronze after defeating Japan’s Daisuke Fujihara in the third place play-off.

India now have four gold, seven silver and six bronze medals to be placed 26th with one day left in the Games.

The last day of the Paralympics will see seven athletes competing across two sports.

Shooting- R6 – Mixed 50m Rifle Prone SH1 (6:00 am IST) – Sidhartha Babu, Deepak and Avani Lekhara

Badminton- Men’s singles SL4 Bronze Medal Match (6:15 am IST) – Tarun Dhillon vs S. Fredy (INA)

Badminton- Men’s singles SL4 Gold Medal Match- (6:15 am) – Suhas Yathiraj vs Lucas Mazur (FRA)

Badminton- Men’s singles SH6 Gold Medal Match (8:00 am) = Krishna Nagar vs Chu Man Kai (HKG)

Badminton- Mixed doubles SL3-SU5 Bronze Medal Match- (8:45 am) Pramod Bhagat/ Palak Kohli vs D. Fujihara/ A. Sugino (JPN)
