Internet has erupted with shocking report of American professional wrestling promotion WWE being sold Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, only hours after Stephanie McMahon’s resignation from the company. 

Stephanie resigned as the co-CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). This came after her father Vince McMahon made his way onto the company’s board of directors a week before. McMahon was announced as Executive Chairman after Stephanie McMahon issued her resignation.

Vincent Kennedy McMahon is a wrestling promoter who is responsible for making WWE a global phenomenon.

Net Worth:

According to Forbes, McMahon’s net worth is estimated to be around $2.4 Billion. He ranked at #1397 in the Forbes list of Billionaires in 2022 and was also named in Forbes 400, the list of richest Americans in 2019. 

Age: 

McMahon was born on August 24, 1945 in Pinehurst, North Carolina, United States and is currently 77 years of age. 

Linda McMahon: 

Linda McMahon is the wife of Vincent McMahon. She is a retired professional wrestler and an American political Executive. Linda became the president of WWE in 1993 and in 1997 she was appointed the CEO. She made her departure from the company and joined politics in 2009. In the following couple of years, she contested as a Republican candidate in senate elections, however, lost both times. 

Linda was appointed as Small Business Administration in 2017 by then president Donald Trump in his cabinet.

Stephanie McMahon: 

Daughter of Linda and Vincent McMahon, Stephanie McMahon has trod a path similar to her parents, and started working for WWE organization after her graduation. 

McMohan is a retired professional wrestler, who won WWE Women’s Championship in the named “McMahon-Hemsley” era. 

She served as the chairperson and CEO of WWE until recently but recently resigned from her position after her father was unanimously re elected as the executive chairman of the company. 

Stephanie is married to Paul Michael Levesque, a.k.a. Triple ‘H’, who serves as the creative director of the organization and referred to as one of the greatest wrestlers in the history of WWE. 

Nick Khan, who shared the position of CEO with Stephanie, will now serve as the company’s sole CEO.
