Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., daughter of Tennis player Serena Williams and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, seems to be “covered” for all that she would ever want to be. Her father says if she wishes to learn coding, or work in the tech industry, he “will teach her”.

And, if she wants to follow footsteps of her mother? Serena has “got her covered,” Ohanian said in an interview to CNN.

Ohanian told CNN that he and Williams just hope that their daughter, less than three-year-old, gets a fairer world and an equitable place by the time she turns 18. The Reddit co-founder said that he hopes Olympia will get a world where “women, and Black women like her, won’t question why opportunities are [being] denied [to] them and they’ll be paid what they are worth.”

Reddit co-founder Ohanian and Ace Tennis player Williams got married in 2016, and Olympia Ohanian Jr. was born a year after.

Ohanian, while speaking to CNN, said how he sees his role after marrying Williams, a global female icon.

“I’ve had a front row seat to exactly see how different it is and how much she’s toiled not only as a woman, but as a Black woman,” said the Reddit co-founder.

Now with Olympia, he is determined to help with the cause.

“Olympia is not going to question everything Serena has done to make this world better for Olympia. I want to sit at that dinner table when Olympia’s a little older and feel like I’ve done my part, too,” he added.
