Marcus Rashford, the Manchester United forward, had a terrific game in the FA Cup against Everton on Friday. The 25-year-old forward scored a goal from a penalty, made an assist to Antony for the opening goal, and also forced an own goal off Conor Coady in the 52nd minute. United won the match 3-1 and advanced to the next round of the FA Cup, thanks to his wonderful show.

Speaking to the official broadcaster after the match, Rashford said that his current United form is the best he has ever played for the club. He has scored a total of 10 goals for United this season, and three for England in the recently concluded FIFA World Cup 2022.

“In terms of performances, it’s probably the best that I’ve been so I feel good on the pitch,” Rashford said, adding, “I’m getting into positions and areas to score goals. If I keep creating chances, I feel like I’ll keep scoring.”

“I feel like I can still improve on things, I can still be up for longer periods in the game. There are things that I am still working on and working towards. But obviously, I am happy at the moment, the main thing is about winning games and keeping that winning mentality,” he continued.

Speaking about the team’s form at Old Trafford, the forward said that if they create chances consistently, there is no reason why they can’t score goals and win matches.

“I just think that if we keep creating the chances and keep getting into areas, there is no reason why we should not be scoring goals. In my mind, it’s just after a game I just reset and refocus and do our homework on the next opposition and see where we can hurt them. You have to be relentless and keep trying,” he said.
