The ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup will start on October 16, 2022, and the finals will be played on November 13, 2022. It will mark the eighth tournament of the international championship. After getting postponed for almost two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the tournament will finally take place in Australia.
Australia will host the men’s tournament for the first time this year and the matches will take place at seven venues across the country.

Who is Josh Hazlewood?
Josh Reginald Hazlewood is an Australian cricketer who was born on January 8, 1991, in Tamworth and was brought up in the small town of Bendemeer in New South Wales. He was born to Trevor and Anne Hazlewood and has two older siblings – a brother and a sister.
By the age of 12, he was already playing cricket matches against grown men, and at the age of 17, he became the youngest player to be selected for the New South Wales men’s cricket team. He also became the youngest player to debut for Australia in ODI Cricket in June 2010.

A right-arm fast-medium bowler and a left-handed batsman, Hazlewood became the first bowler in history to rank among the top ten players in all three formats (ODI, Test, and T20) by ICC.
Hazlewood made his Test debut in 2014 against India, and in 2015, in a match against New Zealand, he became the first player to achieve the player of the match award in a day-night Test match.
In January 2017, Hazlewood recorded an unusual inning against New Zealand. He recorded a 26-minute long 54-run tenth wicket partnership with Marcus Stoinis without facing a single ball. He was run out at the non-striker’s end. He became the first player to get dismissed for a diamond duck in a partnership of over fifty runs.

In the Indian Premier League (IPL) Auction of February 2020, he was bought by Chennai Super Kings, but two years later in 2022, he was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL.
Hazlewood has played 57 Test matches, 67 ODI matches, and 31 T20s.
Hazlewood dated Australian make-up artist Cherina Murphy Christian, and the couple got engaged in 2019. They got married in August 2022 in a private ceremony involving close friends and family.
