Who is Lautaro Martinez?

Born on August 22nd, 1997, Martínez is an Argentinian professional football player who represents the Serie A club Inter Milan and the Argentina national team. He plays as a striker.

In 2015, Martinez made his senior debut with Racing Club in Argentina. Before moving on to Inter in 2018, he spent four seasons there, playing for the team in the league and Copa Libertadores and scoring 28 goals in 60 games. In his third season with Inter, he won the Serie A title.

Martínez is a prolific goal scorer who is swift, quick, nimble, and technically gifted. He is renowned for his graceful playing style, good dribbling skills, and clinical finishing ability, as well as his surprising physical power and aerial prowess despite his small stature.

In addition to his typical position as either a center-forward or an out-and-out striker, he can also play as a second striker. He is known as El Toro (“The Bull,” in Spanish) because of his leadership, determination, and mindset on the field.
