French footballer Ousmane Dembele’s FIFA World Cup 2022 journey must be making his club value go up a notch. After defeating England in the FWC quarter-final, France will play against Morocco on December 15 and hopefully, get closer to winning their third World Cup title.

Ousmane Dembele left Barcelona earlier this year after his contract with the Spanish club ended. There were reports of him signing contracts with multiple clubs after he became a free player, but he always had the wish to play for Barca.

Giving rest to all the rumors, on July 14, 2022, Barca fans got the news that Dembele extended his contract with the club until June 30, 2024.

After winning the FIFA World Cup in 2018, France is back again with a bang for the 2022 FIFA edition and Barcelona couldn’t be happier and is cheering out loud for their Barca player Dembele.

Who is Ousmane Dembele?

Masour Ousmane Dembele commonly known as Ousmane Dembele is a French professional footballer who plays for La Liga club Barcelona and the France national team as a winger.

Dembele was born on May 15, 1997, in Vernon, France. He made his debut for the Senior France squad on September 1, 2016, against Italy after replacing French forward Antoine Griezmann that too for the last 27 minutes. He scored his first goal for France against England and in a match they won 3-2.

He began his career at Renees and then joined Dortmund in 2016. There, in the 2016-17 season, he won the DFB-Pokal with die Borussen after scoring a goal in the final year. On August 25, 2017, he joined Barcelona for a fee of Euro 105 million and became the joint-second most expensive football player at that time.

He was also a part of the 23-men French squad for the FIFA World Cup 2018 which was held in Russia.

He is a winger and has the ability to use his both feet because of which he can play on either flank.

He got married in December 2021 to a Moroccan woman Rima Edbouche. They have a daughter who was born in September 2022.

His net worth is estimated to be $35 million with a monthly salary of $14 million.
