Zimbabwe registered a stunning win over Pakistan by 19 runs in the second T20 match of the series on Friday. Zimbabwe batted first and put up a total of 118/9 in 20 overs. The Pakistanis failed to chase the meagre target as they tumble for 99 in 19.5 overs. And Twitter users were quick to react to Pakistan’s shocking loss.

Luke Jongwe from Zimbabwe was given the player of the match award for his outstanding bowling performance with bowling figures of 4 for 18 runs in 3.5 overs.

Babar Azam with 41 runs and Danish Aziz with 22 runs together scored more than 60% of the teams total as their side ended with 99. 

The pitch was slow, and the runs were hard to come by. But 118 runs seemed to below par and looked hard to be defended. But the Zimbabweans showed great character in levelling the series 1-1.

Pakistan on the other hand never really got going in the powerplay. And from being 21-0 in five overs, they found themselves at 78-4 in the 16th over. Needing 41 runs in the last four overs on a surface like this one was always going to be tough.
