AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been given the all-clear to end his quarantine period, the 39-year-old striker can return to action following his negative test for coronavirus, the Serie A club announced on Friday.
The former Manchester United striker also tweeted about feeling better and added that his quarantine period was over.
Milan confirmed in a statement that the Swedish striker had tested negative for COVID-19 twice in a row, as mandated by the protocol.

Ibrahimovic, 39, sounded more triumphant announcing the news of his recovery and wrote: “You are cured! The health authority says the quarantine is over, you can go out!”
The announcement comes a day after the Milan striker tested positive dampening hopes of his participation in Milan derby scheduled for October 17.
The Swede who started his career at Ajax first tested positive for COVID-19 on September 24.

The fate of the derby is yet to be determined as two other Milan players and five more from Inter Milan remain in self-quarantine.
In spite of Ibrahimovic’s absence from the squad the AC Milan side has made a positive start to their Serie A campaign. The club sits second on the points table having won all three of their games. The club has also reached the group stages of the Europa League.
