SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Saturday asked Russia President Vladimir Putin to join him for a conversation on Clubhouse, an application for holding virtual discussions. The motive behind Musk’s sudden invitation is still unclear.
Musk on Saturday took to Twitter and said, “@KremlinRussia_E would you like join me for a conversation on Clubhouse?.”
In a separate tweet, he said, “It would be a great honor to speak with you.” The second tweet was written in Russian.
According to Hindustan Times, the tweet can be assumed as an endorsement of Clubhouse that has recently gained popularity and gained the attention of the techies such as Musk and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg along with celebs like Drake, Kevin Hart, Oprah, Jared Leto, and Ashton Kutcher.
Last week, founder of Cred, Kunal Shah, asked Musk how he manages to keep up with the immense workload. Musk later replied to his queries saying, “I am an alien.”
Recently, tweets by Musk on cryptocurrencies had a huge effect on the bitcoin, which moved up sharply to a record $50,000. Similarly, when he tweeted about Gamestop, share prices sky rocketed.
