giant OnePlus on Friday announced the launch of its first fitness band in India on its Twitter handle. The device will be launched on January 11.

“Introducing
the new face of fitness. Staying fit has never been easier. OnePlus Band. Dropping
11am IST | 11th January” the company captioned the post.

According to the OnePlus’ post, the
fitness bracelet will feature an SpO2 monitor, that will help users know their blood oxygen
saturation level. This will be
OnePlus’ first-ever fitness wearable device.

Other expected features are a heart-rate monitor, blood oxygen level monitor, calorie counter, workout mode support.

The fitness band marks OnePlus’ first product of this sort giving an indication of company’s plans to enter lifestyle space further.

As far as its previous launches in India are concerned, the brand has launched premium QLED TVs and affordable mid-range TVs in December.

If reports are to be believed, OnePlus is soon expected to introduce two new variants of its smartwatch, named OnePlus Watch and OnePlus Watch RX. However, the launch date of the above mentioned products is not yet disclosed.
